Assembled posts - This cable railing post is designed to be modular and weldless. It will have to work with surface mount base PA19 (not included) and angle bracket PA15 PA16 (not included) to get a complete 36' post. The post is pre-drilled with 10 pairs of level holes to work on horizontal sections and save your labor
Weather protection - This black powder-coated cable railing post is made of quality aluminum with great rust resistance and will work for a long lifetime. It is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications like deck, stair, porch, balcony, and fence. The black powder coat allows it to work on the seaside as well
Code Compliance - This structural square post is designed with 3' cable spacing. Generally, the span between two structural posts should not exceed 4 feet in order to pass the 4' sphere test. But it could be increased to 7 feet if you add a stabilizer post between them. Please search Muzata PS11 to find stabilizer posts, which will also get you a broader view. It is important to consult local building offices for the codes since there might be different rules in some states
